1. Where are you based?
-> Hijab Style is based in Egypt. However, we do accept international orders. See below [Q3] for our terms concerning international ordering, and Q6 for national ordering.
2. Can an ‘unveiled’ bride order a dress?
-> Yes. Our services are not exclusive to veiled women, it’s just designed to fit their needs – including that to be fashionable.
3. I live outside Egypt. How do I order from you?
-> Yes. We can ship dresses and veil designs anywhere worldwide. All you have to do is contact us and we will set the dates and details, then you'll send me your measurements on either French, UK, or US scales or all, if possible, according to a chart I’m going to provide you with.
Concerning the payment, you'll pay in cash. There will be an underpayment via Western Union or any similar money transfer company – 50% of the total sum.
Bear in mind that, unless you’re ordering from the prêt-a-porter collection, you need to allow at least 6 weeks before the date you want your dress on. Wedding dresses can take time up to three months.
4. Do you rent dresses?
-> No.
5. Is professional make-up exclusive to Alexandria?
-> No; Cairo is included as well. Exceptions (as long as within the Egyptian borders) can be made, though.
6. I live in Egypt. How can I order?
-> In Egypt, ordering online is the least convenient way to do it. So, we do advise you to come pay us a visit in our shop. If you cannot come to Alexandria at least for the first time, do not hesitate to call us directly. The address and the phone number are available on the contact page.
As to the payment method: like international ordering, you’ll pay 50% of the total sum (that varies according to the design and materials used) as an underpayment at the beginning of the order and the rest as you go through the journey of match-making you with a dress.
As a resident of Egypt, you’ll have the luxury of 2-3 try-outs before you take the dress, which allows full, unlimited customization of everything included.
Please allow at least 2 months for wedding gowns and at least one month for anything else.
7. Some of your designs do not fit all the rules of hijab*.
-> As Muslims ourselves, we are fully aware. However, these designs you see here are altered to fit every customer, their needs and their wishes. We offer the veiled woman an understanding, flexible and fashionable gateway to the one.
*aka the Muslim head scarf. In this case, the whole outfit.
